The first membership conference and founding assembly of the Jiaozhou Textile Machinery Association was solemnly held in our town.
To build the SCO Textile Machinery Innovation Center to a high standard and enhance its innovation and cohesion, the first membership conference and founding assembly of the Jiaozhou Textile Machinery Association was held on the morning of June 7 in the third-floor conference room of the Hexi Guo Community. Xu Jing, Chief of the Industry Guidance Section at the Municipal Bureau of Science, Technology, Industry, and Information Technology, attended the event to provide guidance, while Deputy Mayor Xu Bing from Yanghe Town chaired the meeting.
Comrade Xu Jing read out the "Reply from Jiaozhou Science, Technology, and Information Technology Bureau approving it as the business supervisory authority for the Jiaozhou Textile Machinery Association (Preparatory Committee)." A total of 30 members from various textile machinery enterprises across the city attended the meeting. During the session, the "Articles of Association of the Jiaozhou Textile Machinery Association" were reviewed and approved.
The conference elected the Standing Directors, President, Vice Presidents, Secretary-General, and Supervisor of the Jiaozhou Textile Machinery Association through a show-of-hands vote.
Since the establishment of the Jiaozhou Textile Machinery Association, the town has been energized with strong internal momentum as it moves forward with building the SCO Textile Machinery Innovation Center. Focused on developing a robust textile machinery industry cluster, this year the town is fully committed to constructing the center by integrating 63 textile machinery companies and 8 casting enterprises into a collaborative, concentrated growth model—leveraging the region’s unique industrial advantages. Notably, 14 of these companies have already established trade and export partnerships with 16 SCO member countries and nations along the Belt and Road Initiative routes, achieving an impressive trade export value of 400 million yuan in 2022. Moving forward, the association will strengthen coordination and services among its member firms, effectively serving as a vital bridge to drive higher-quality development for Jiaozhou’s textile machinery enterprises.
